...You dont just forget how to fight someone like that. Not to mention, plenty of preperation in sparring will refresh his memory.

Put Margarito aside for a moment. I see a lot of posts here, from people who think Mayweather fighting Baldomir is him ducking the tough fights, saying how hard a fight it could be. Why wouldn't we want to see it then? If Baldomir is going to put Mayweather through hell, then this is a good fight for Pretty Boy to test himself with and gain credence for his time at 147.

If Baldomir can pressure him, and back Mayweather up, then we have many of the same reasons to think he could hurt Floyd that we do for Margarito. So, if Carlos is the 147 lb. linear champion, then using the logic of this being a tough fight for Mayweather, this is a better fight for him than the bout against Antonio.

How did you know Antonio wanted to fight me? I've never really stepped in the ring before, so when I heard he was offering me $2 million to fight him in October I was shocked. Despite being a scrawny, untrained, unknown boxer Margarito is offering me money to battle him. I guess I'll just be like alot of his opposition, huh?

Forgive me for ducking him, I don't want to be just another nobody he beat.

I'm not paying for this piece of crap! lol! I'll be saving that money for the Manny Pacquiao-Erik Morales fight!

Baldy will get his payday he truly deserves after 15-20 years of fighting! Then ride off into the sunset with his family. Nice little fairy tale ending for his career.

                  GOOD JOB BALDY!

If so, this is acceptable. You can never fault a guy for going after the champ. This will make Floyd the linear champ and RING champ, which is a pretty big deal. I believe Floyd is also fighting in February, so that will be a good time to fight Margarito.
Where did you read that Floyd is fighting again in Feb? I highly doubt he would do that as he has been taking 5 or 6 months between fights for quite a while now. Hopefully he will but I doubt it.
