Bad news for Nordine Oubaali, respect to Nonito but he took an L. Manny Rodriguez was screwed by Luis Nery after Luis failed to make weight. The right call by the WBC would of been Donaire vs. Rodriquez for the mandatory spot.

If Donaire fights as well as he did against the Monster he wins this, but was that his last hurrah? There's no way Oubali could beat Naoya like he beat his brother, but avenging family honour would be an interesting narrative for a unification.

I agree with these and I’m a fan of Donaire.

Besides, Donaire should be thinking about retirement now after that strong performance. Nothing else to prove and nothing more to accomplish. Or maybe he should go back down to 115 and attempt to win a title in there and become a 5 div champ
