I still believe the Wlad fight changed AJ. Hes been much more careful & deliberate since that near L. The Ruiz L just got him even more cautious in the ring. Im curious if he turns into a Wlad level boring boxer from here out at this point. The amount of holding he did Saturday seemed new & took his entertainment value down a notch. When I watch HW boxing I wanna see KOs & KDs & excitement not no sh^tty HW jab all night with a late round stoppage cuz a guy gassed enough to finally take out.
Its a unfair expectation of HWs but thats the reality of what fans want from their HW fights. Most mfers want to see destruction not tactics at HW. Thats why the Wlad era seemed like the dark ages era of modern HW boxing.
