Is this a joke? Vargas was a good fighter but probably not HOF worthy even. He has 2 significant wins in his career and one is highly disputed. If you want to know who the greatest of all time was... catch a replay of the Sugar Ray Robinson special that was on HBO last night. Robinson won 93 fights straight in between 1943 and 1951. At a certain point in his career he was 120-1-2 and finished with 175 wins and 110 KO's. Most fighters today won't even fight half as many times as he had KO's.

He's joking. I'm pretty sure this thread is a knock on everybody who said Vargas and Gatti were Hall of Fame greats.

Hall of fame bound due to their guts, determination and heart...But not greats....

On a side note, at 130-135 Gatti was a pretty good boxer.
