Is this a joke? Vargas was a good fighter but probably not HOF worthy even. He has 2 significant wins in his career and one is highly disputed. If you want to know who the greatest of all time was... catch a replay of the Sugar Ray Robinson special that was on HBO last night. Robinson won 93 fights straight in between 1943 and 1951. At a certain point in his career he was 120-1-2 and finished with 175 wins and 110 KO's. Most fighters today won't even fight half as many times as he had KO's.Originally posted by Big Ri mean what hes done in the ring since he was a youngster with all the heart he has i mean how can fernando vargas not be considered the greatest fighter of all time?Comment

Hall of fame bound due to their guts, determination and heart...But not greats....
On a side note, at 130-135 Gatti was a pretty good boxer.Comment
