How many times was it said, joked, for the amount of California DAZN buys for Andy Ruiz Jr? How many American states are heavy with Mexican Americans?

And again, DAZN worldwide wouldn’t buy to see Anthony Joshua?

Wtf is “LSU Georgia”. Lol who the hell talks like this for a big global heavyweight fight? Oh that’s right, “but but we’d only talking USA!” Lol
Yeah I've watched the sport faithfully for well over 35 years. If I am not, then no one on this site is.

As we have learned from recent interviews dazn executives have given the ap is not huge on the east coast. I am sure of the 800k subs sold in America, most are from Canelo fans. If I was a huge Canelo fan I would buy dazn because his fights are cheaper than when they were PPV.

I can't really speak on what fans outside the US will do. I am sure they treat AJ like they did Wlad, who, like AJ, got KTFO by an obscure American and then ran half way across the globe to hide. Hopefully AJ will have the "testicular fortitude" to come back and fight in the US.

A fight isn't global if it doesn't register in the US.

Did you see DAZN's CEO jumping up and screaming 2x when AJ won? LMAOOO.

      It was live on TV!

I didn't but that was to be expected given what was at stake beyond just AJ regaining the HWT title.

No such thing happened with the context of AJ winning, it was because Rick Glaser sent a DM that Wilder vs Ortiz really just did 210K PPV, finally confirmed, and the bet was that it would do less than 211K!

Guys people just don't care for boxing. I was at a family party, it was at the time the fight was happening, we had it on a tablet in party room, and of bunch of men in that room 30-60 yrs old, simply didn't care for the fight, and when they did end up watching it they said how "boring it was" with an older fella saying "man I remember when Tyson fought, this is boring"...

            Sad, but true.

I gotta admit, many nights I see some stiffs on ESPN or PBC and there is UFC on, I've been changing the channel to UFC more and more, often they just put up more fun, competitive fights.

Boxing promoters need to put up big fights, stop protecting that ****** ZERO on their fighters records and do cross promotions.

We used to have the huge Filipino diaspora drive boxing with Manny, now we still have a lot of Mexican support. Western Europe, America doesn't really care for the East Euros and that diaspora is nowhere near as active as the Mexicans for example as it comes to watching and paying for boxing.

Promoters need to build crossover stars, look for exciting fighters, make the sport grow.

DAZN is a crappy service. Horrible user experience. Stream crashed at least 10 times for me. I used their Apple TV app.

I'm curious if anyone else uses their Apple TV app?

I think the problem is that you’re not supposed to host a party with a tablet! LMAO

True, but not my party, rather a family gathering, but the few of us just had to catch the fight at any cost.
