Ruiz keeps talking about a third fight like it's a sure thing. Unless he already has a contract I'd say he may have ****ed himself. He's not exactly the most marketable guy in sports. And he's a fairly high risk low reward fight for anyone. How on Earth do you not train for a heavyweight championship fight? Thousands of fighters would kill for his skills. Who the **** cares about the money when you make an ass out of yourself and let down and disrespect (and kinda piss on) millions of people? Fans don't like that. Sorry but I just can't comprehend all the "oh I learned my lesson it'll be different next time bull****." He's been a fighter for years. You mean to tell me he needed last night to spell out for him what was at stake and the commitment required? GTFOH...

Lets be honest, Ruiz fought like a tomato can, Joshua fought stiff as hell and scared, any top heavyweight from the 1970's
would have beat the sh_t out of both of them.

Ruiz honestly let everybody down especially himself and he'll look back on this and resent his decision for the rest of his life I'm sure. Huge fan but he really needs to STFU and stop making excuses. I feel embarrassed defending this guy since he won the first fight and then he pulls this stunt. Preparation and conditioning is a huge part of the sport and this guy couldn't be bothered to do it while AJ locked himself up in a dungeon and came in amazing shape to box his ears off.

Ruiz let the partying, celebrity, and fame get to him and put that over training for the biggest fight of his life. The president of Mexico won't want to see him, Jimmy Kimmel won't have him on his show again, the celebrities won't call, and the clingers are just going to hang out until this guy blows all his money. Really disappointing.

This exactly... sadly. He's only 30 maybe he can turn his **** around. Tyson Fury did, though I don't know if he has Fury's mindset.
