Firstly, its well known I do not rate Joshua, and think he's technically woeful. But cong****, I thought Ruiz would stop him late. He trained hard and got the W.

However if its true that Ruiz barely had a camp then Joshua was woeful. He was disciplined with his tactics. But despite of this he still got hit with body shots and some decent shots by a 6 ft 1 20 stone man, despite having height and reach advantage.

Was this really a master class?

Only winning 10 or 11 rounds out of 12. Was a disastrous performance...

The opponent literally didn't train. Joshua should be getting him out of there and never getting touched.

Yes, if your opponent didn't box for the fight hid fitness and timing will be dreadful. Look at floyd Mayweather performance in sparring at a beginning of a training camp.

      Joshua was poor.

Another words...I was wrong but I'm still stubborn enough to make excuses about my pick. It was a good performance, it works in Team Ruiz's favour to say he 'didn't train'...its obvious he could have been better but I didnt see much difference from the first fight...only that Joshua fought well and didnt allow him the same opportunities

Ruiz has a granite chin, hes got great coordination and hand speed, tough style for Joshua and he passed it second time, hes also a better fighter for the experience

Good logic, fact is he won. Fact was he lost 6 months ago. Train or not train, poor performance or not, he won the fight.... that’s all that counts.

It was a win, and cong**** to him for that.

But it was one of the most cowardly wins I've ever seen in a title fight.

Compare Wilder vs. Fury, for example. Fury damn near died in the 12th round. And what did he do? He climbed off the canvas and fired back at Wilder, trying to take his head off for the remaining two minutes of the fight. That's a warrior's mentality. I look at Joshua running from a fat man until the final bell and I'm disgusted that he's a unified champion.

Oh dear, some serious volume of toys being thrown around this forum today from the Wilder groupies.

He ran all night and clinched at every opportunity against a morbidly obese man that didn't train. Ruiz likely had a lot less muscle mass in the rematch, but still weighed over a stone more...

He won, but he was getting hit by jabs and body shots by a 6 ft 1 20 stone man WHO DID NOT TRAIN.

                  It was a poor performance.

But more importantly than conditioning is his timing. If you have barely boxed and sparred then you hand eye and timing is gonna be woeful.

Joshua was poor despite of this. His tactics were better but he still got hit.
