Now Americans can see how over hyped Eubank is too. The first round of the Degale fight was the same, Degale landing several southpaw lefts to Eubank’s face, however it quickly became clear Degale had no fight left in him and Eubank beat him up. Technically Eubank is basic though. I can’t believe he fluked his way to another win in a fight I expected him to lose.
If Korobov didn’t get injured, that should have been loss no. 3.

I'm hoping they run that one back.

It's an interesting fight, and a tough one for Eubank.

I like Eubank Jr but he skipped the fundamentals of boxing and never learned under the tutelage of a seasoned trainer. This will cost him EVERY time he steps up. Today he dodged a bullet but won't be so lucky against Charlo.
Eubank would have won easily. So what if Korobov landed some shots early in the fight?

Although Korobov landed some flush punches we didn't even get to see Two full rounds.
Not sure how much you can take from that. Specially since Korobov gassed a bit late in the fight against unheralded Aleem.
Sucks because this was the most interesting fight of the card.

I feel terrible for Korobov...he’s really had some unfortunate breaks in his career. Eubanks was about to be schooled in this fight. He’s a really tough kid Korobov and for him not to be able to continue you know he was in serious pain. Knowing Matvey and seeing him train first hand...I worry that this injury might have been caused by years of an overly incredible work ethic on his body. I mean, at 36 going on 37...no matter how good your tires are...there’s only so many threads in them and eventually you can wear that body down. I hope he rebounds and gets another chance at Eubanks. Honestly, even if Eubanks prepares for the obvious...Korobov is so technical, so experienced he would find multiple ways of taking this kid out. He’s not his father...in fact, his dad during pre-fight...certainly didn’t express the type of confidence in Jr. as one would have expected. At 30...Eubanks has a long way to go to reach the heights he thinks he can reach. Korobov is one dangerous fighter...I wish him the best, hope he heals quick and that he gets another shot at someone. He deserves it.

Korobov always does well early so its not that suprising, stil those were some flush left hands

Korobov needs to hang em up. He has shtty luck and is getting old and injury prone.

I think Eubank is being underestimated a little bit. I wasnt a fan at first but his stamina, workrate, and chin are really impressive. Those three attributes can take fighters far in the game.

I actually think Eubank beats Charlo.. charlo doesnt throw alot of punches and sort of fight in spurts. He likes to pose and admire his work but while he lookin like an idiot, Eubank would be on his ass landing shtload of punches.

Eubank would have beaten Korobov fairly and he would beat charlo’s ass.

I put alot of stock into chin and workrate and those are Eubank’s main assets.
