I am surprised Lacy turned down 1.5 million to fight Tarver...

Lacy could make easy work and make his loss over Calzaghe be forgotten.

Of course after the beating he received he probably wants to get his confidence back..I have a bad feeling Lacy is going to be damaged goods when he returns though....

From what i read in the actual article this morning it almost sounds as though he is pondering retirement........Man I hope not.It says **** like He is "undecided" on his future and **** like that.........This is all strange to me because just a month ago he was on a local station talking like he was ready to come back and Oct 7 was the date and Blah,blah,blah........Now yesterday he was saying oh well I did not know the fight was Oct and this and that which is a blatant lie on his part...... I am a sad fan but holding out and hoping for the best....time will tell.

That would be a huge shock if he retired

It would be if he hadn't been beaten so comprehensively by Calzaghe. It's obviously made him question his talent at the top level. Sure he can ko average/decent fighters, but in his one step up to world class, he was found out.

Calzaghe is a great fighter....Lacy can still beat 95% of the guys out there at SMW and LHW......I highly doubt he is questioning his talent...the guy won over 200 amatuer fights also.....

I've said it before and i'll say it again. Calzaghe has RETIRED Lacy.

Judging from the ramblings coming out of the Lacy camp, you appear to be correct
