I think ur **** on. The added weight was all fat for sure, u could see it on him. But even if he was leaner it wouldn’t have made his arms longer or made him more dynamic, or more willing to take risks. It wouldn’t have stopped Joshua from sticking and moving, and avoiding any exchanges like the first fight. Ruiz at 250lbs would still need to get AJ to trade with him to have a shot. Not even if he got knocked down in the rematch would AJ engage a hurt Ruiz like that again. Precedent is boxing.
Ruiz was an undisciplined fat ass. But even in shape he still loses to that style.

That's the thing people fail to understand. In the first fight, Joshua walked to Ruiz. Andy didn't do anything different in the 2nd. The fat had no influence. Joshua just didn't give Ruiz opportunities so the short guy had no chance.
People made bad picks and want to blame it on the fat.Comment

Watch the first fight and the second fight side by side.
In the second fight ruiz was moving at at least 75% speed.
He looked like total shlt. For you to say the weight didnt make a difference is just blatantly incorrect. All you have yo do is just watch the first fight again.Comment

A lot of people say that joshua was outboxing ruiz before the knockdown.. how? Ruiz was outboxing joshua.
If you say ruiz was the same in the second fight as the first, that's just flat out wrong. Just press play.
Compared to the first fight, ruiz looked like he was fighting in mud last night.

Yep. Physical conditioning was a complete non factor. Ruiz was befuddled by Joshua's movement. This is why he never really exploded fully all through the descending fazes of desperation he experienced till the final bell. At one point late in the fight Joshua changed directions 5 times and Ruiz followed him like a cat chasing a laser pointer. Ruiz never changed tactics. He couldn't.Comment

Ruiz was landing on joshua but not enough and it was too late.
If he was in shape, it would have been a different story. How is that even arguable.
Ruiz's punches even though he looked like shlt were having an effect on joshua last night. Let's be real.Comment

(and even last night Ruiz managed to get close and land some bombs -- but none had that debilitating power of that right on the ear from the first fight... )Comment
