Anyone remember Paul "Scrap Iron" Ryan, the former British and Commonwealth Light-Welter champ??

He was an absolute comedian. He possessed hands of iron, and a balsa wood chin.

Would love to know what happened to him. He seems to disappear after 28 fights in 1997. I'm hoping he's back in prison planning a final bow.

Surely one of the unsung P4P greats.

Yeah McCreesh retired him! Probably by landing a soft jab on Scrap Iron's polystyrene jaw. To a life of crime I hope.

He's always had a special place in my heart after a spot on one of Frank Warren's videos (I forget the name now). Pure COMEDY. Talking about fighting with screws and crying whilst looking out of his prison cell.
