Barry McGuigan (promoter) just said on Talksport that Josh Taylor is under pressure from IBF to have a mandatory next.

Should be easy work for Josh. Hopefully the fight for all the belts can be made for the second half of 2020 if Ramirez can get past Postol.

Not Taylor's fault that Matias is ranked number 2 by IBF, behind the Thai guy.

Matias is a big puncher but he took some big shots from Prograis so I don't see it being a big factor. Taylor has size advantage too.

If so then hopefully the WBO let him prioritise the unification. Winner fights Catterall or get stripped is fair. If all the belts get unified then I'd like to see Prograis get a shot. He and Ramirez need to get it on anyway to settle the 1-2-3 of this mini-era at 140 (excluding Mikey).

McGuigan also said their preferred promoter to work with in the next fight would be Eddie Hearn/Matchroom. Which means the fight would be on Sky and DAZN. Could be a big coup for Matchroom if they could get Taylor signed up!
