    The ref babysat Joshua

Realistically put yourself in ruiz's shoes... the taller guy is using his reach and legs to hit you where you can't reach him, and then when you can reach him, he grabs you and then the ref breaks it up within 5 seconds and then you're back out of reach.

Realistically, what would you do? How do you win that fight?

Babysat? Yeah holding and hitting behind the ear is perfectly normal.

That's not what happened. Joshua would go in to hold and Ruiz would foul the **** out of him with Kidney and rabbit shots. There wasn't even that much clinching. Less than an average fight. You're digging for excuses because of your complete failure of a prediction thread.

I thought Ruiz was the better boxer all day everyday and there's no way for AJ to win or learn to box?

AJ didn't even clinch that much especially at the start. You're just a sore loser.

He was one of the more cowardly ref's I've ever seen. Wasn't willing to even step in to break them. The ref in the last fight got hit by Joshua even lol. This Pabon mofo prolly figured Ruiz would ice him and a replacement would swoop in.

Oh I perfectly know how much aj fans want to gang**** me, that's why i posed the question.

What would you do when a taller fighter keeps you out of reach, and then when you do get in reach, he grabs you and then the ref resets within 5 seconds and puts you back out of reach.

What would you do to win the fight? If you're not going to answer the question then you're just in this thread to troll or dlckride

              Answer the question.

Time him coming in so he can't.

There wasn't much clinching though so your thread is weak.

Go back in time to renegotiate the contract with a different ref and different ring size. Ruiz's only shot at winning against AJ's style was if he could stay in once he got in, and sometimes the breaks were coming before there was even a proper tie-up. I assume Ruiz's idea - if he had any ideas - was that he only needed to get inside long enough to rattle Joshua's head a few times, either force a knockdown to make Joshua switch to offense or otherwise make him eat some shots that would shake his gameplan. Did he lose some opportunities to do that because of premature ref intervention? Yeah, a couple times. Would he have done anything on those few occasions if he hadn't been pushed out early? Impossible to know.

AJ didnt clinch that much because he stayed on the outside but whenever he would get inside he would clinch. Excessive clinching is also against the rules. Ruiz was just doing what he could to land.
