Joshua fought this way because he had a reach advantage and was afraid of Ruiz's power. He wouldn't have that advantage against Fury, and Fury has no real power - or at least he fights in a style that deemphasizes whatever power he might have. Fury's weakness, aside from the fact that he isn't going to hurt you, is that he will go down if you hit him on the button (even if he'll get up afterwards). I doubt this fight would ever happen, but Joshua would probably fight in his usual midrange power style.

Agreed. Jab n’ grab only works against a shorter fatter guy like Ruiz.

Fury couldn't stop Otto Wallin lol. He's not stopping anyone with a pulse. Out box, maybe, but his best days are also behind him.

Fury could have got the Joshua fight a much bigger fight than Wilder. Would have been massive the biggest fight in British history. Instead he chose to fight Wilder for 7 mil, why? Because he knows Joshua is a much harder fight.

People saying he would trade with Fury is crazy. Joshua is never trading with anybody again. Anytime Ruiz landed something close to flush you saw AJ legs shake. AJ did a good job of moving and clinching. That chin is gone.

Ruiz isn't a one punch KO fighter but all fight you could tell he was one punch away. AJ's power didn't phase him. He ate some good right hands & hooks. I don't know how any AJ fan could watch this fight and be confident he'd beat any of the top 10 heavies easily. He's always one punch away from getting KO'd.

AJ is not going to fight fury or wilder. He stated himself that after he beats ruiz, he wants soft touches. He isn't going to take the risk. He is a mentally fragile person.

Wilder Fury or Ortiz will beat AJ.
