Well I understand that and think it should be a close fight but seriously bro.....what are the odds either guy is going to end up on the floor outside the ring again? I mean 10000 to 1 maybe........It is just not likely.I could see either guy KOing the other but devastating KOs like last time only happen once in a while.....

I doubt it'll be a repeat of their last fight but I still think Rahman will lose. He's not the same since losing to Lewis.

i agree, thats not what i was reffering to, its all pre fight hype and they both know this is a ****ty ppv so they talk smack to sell the fight. James Toney is the master at pre fight hype and **** talking, they cant touch him on that one...

It's great to see the Russian fighter talking **** for once. These guys are usually incredibly modest and just take verbal abuse from their boisterous American opponents without getting very upset, so it's nice to see Maskaev turn the tables and start the trash talk.

LOL at Maskaev petitioning for the extra paddding. If their situations were flopped and it was Rahman or another American heavyweight bringing up the padding thing, everyone on this forum would find it hilarious.

The real joke will be when Makaev really does take him out again in a repeat performance.

i see this as a lose/lose situation. if rahman wins, he beat an old, unskilled, fringe contender. if maskaev wins, we will have to aknowledge him as a legit champion with a semi-legit title and adding even more uncertainty, dismay, and and garbage to the HW scene.

both of these fighters have weak chins and heavy hands, so i think that a knockout is more than likely.

at first, i want maskaev to win just because of my distain for rahman. but now i really dont care who wins cuz IMO, neither fighter is championship material, and neither fighter is really worth supporting.

Rahman is a bigger, faster, stronger, and better boxer. Rahman was wining their first fight, until the KO happened.

What are the chances of Oleg pulling another KO? Probably slim to none

Ya, Maskaev being "the champion" by winning the WBC belt from the paper champ just seems funny and sad at the same time.
