Andy Ruiz just lied about his weight the Chris Mannix

Says he weighed himself in at exactly 268 before he weighed 283 on an official scale.

On a scale of 1-10, 10 being certainly the truth and 1 being highly unlikely, where would you rate the certainty of that scenario? You know that he weighted exactly what he weighed for the first fight hours before weighing in 15 pounds heavier.

    I’m going negative 57. You?

Andy Ruiz is full of ****. I remember he was on Joe Rogan, talking about how he was financially struggling prior to the AJ fight, and then after the AJ fight told his mom we don't have to struggle no more! And then later in the podcast Joe Rogans asks what sort of car he drove before the AJ fight, because fatboy immediately went out and bought a Rolls Royce after beating AJ, and this man goes I had a porsche, and before that a beamer. Yeah ok you were struggling.

Ruiz is worth millions of dollars and certainly must own an accurate scale being a pro boxer. No decent scale will be off by more than a pound or two at most and probably weigh the same as the official scale so I think there is no chance Andy weighed 268 pounds on his scale right before the fight. He looked much fatter this time and the official scale was correct in my opinion.

it depends on the model, it's age, history etc. also, what they cost is nothing compared to the costs an elite boxer needs to run a proper training camp.
So when he said he was struggling, it's in relative terms.

I agree that he's a bs artist though. peice of **** goes in praising the ground al haymon walks on..after doing nothing but trash eddie hearn publicly.
he fits in perfectly with the pbc.

                Lets not jump to conclusion.

His scale a 5 dollar scales vs an official percise scale.

that + he weighed himself naked, vs he weighed himself fully dressed for teh official

LMAO. I was just thinking about this and thinking, that muffvkka must have been lying, when I ran into your thread

I mean I doubted it from jump, but then again I thought I'm not familiar with how quickly these guys put on weight. But for a heavy??? Just the way he was talking after the fight about how he came in too heavy and how he "trained himself" tells me that he didn't train hard enough and the weight wasn't just the result of rehydration and a meal the day of the weigh-in.
