AJ's loss last time looked a lot like Wladimir's early losses where he couldnt handle pressure well. I dont think AJ's chin is that bad. The right hand Wlad put him down with was fast and crisp and he got up from that and Ruiz. Last time he looked mentally exhausted from a guy who showed him no respect.

AJ has all the tools to beat Ruiz, its a mental adjustment he needs.

Ruiz has a real good jaw and recovery abilities. He was stunned when AJ dropped him but you can see his eyes were clear and not glassy when he was on the canvas, he got back up and took the fight, AJ even got another solid shot in on him that did not phase him. Parker got some solid shots on him that did not phase him.

AJ did the right think by dropping some mass, he needs to box for 12 rounds. Parker had an easy time keeping Ruiz at bay on the outside.

I will assume AJ made a lot of mental adjustments, we know he trained hard. I think he will decision Ruiz.

AJ will be so dominant that the first fight will be a vague memory.

He's going to press Ruiz from a distance, break him down, and punish him until Ruiz can't defend himself. It's going to be one of those fights, where bloody and battered is used to describe Ruiz in the reviewing article.

As I wrote in another thread, the first loss was a blessing in disguise. It took him to another level and we'll see it tonight.

Ruiz beat him and it was no fluke. Beating Ruiz in a rematch doesn't make him number 1. He has a KO defeat on his record and both Fury and Wilder are ranked higher than he is because they are undefeated.

          I'm rooting for AJ.
He's a good dude, lots of character, and just a class act.
Would love to see him get his belts back and began fresh

I feel pretty much the same way about the rematch as I did the first time. I expect Joshua to win, but it wouldn’t be surprised if Ruiz won. In fact, since Andy already beat AJ once, the odds are higher that he’ll repeat. At least that’s the way I see it.
