I wouldn't say JMM went life and death against Katsidis at all. He owned the show up until he was knocked down in the 3rd, then regained control and arguably won the rest of the round, and then inarguably won every minute until the end. The Diaz fight, yeah, that was a different show all together!

Spot on by breadman, except Marciano would have battered Frazier. The Rock was a beast in there.

Wlad might've been willing to fight anyone but he fought scared once he got in the ring. Wlad would start an offensive sequence with a clinch. He would initiate a clinch coming out of a clinch. As soon as he got hit by ANYONE he would shell up until the punching stopped.

I don't need to see Mayweather against all the fighters he didn't fight to know he was one of the most calculated fighters I've ever seen. I don't think Mayweather got out of 3rd gear when he fought Canelo. If Mayweather was fairly active at 42 he could still beat the version of Canelo he fought in 2013.

I think it’s silly to say Wlad fought “scared”. It’s just how he fought. Lara isnt scared, Floyd wasn’t scared, Rigo isnt scared, etc etc. It’s HW boxing and hit and dont get hit is at it’s most extreme at HW. It was his form of defense and it was down right effective.

Saying Deontay is willing to do more than Wlad is misleading. Wlad never laid down and quit he always rose to his feet and wanted to continue. AJ may have been tired but Wlad was an ancient giant...he’s not rocking that Margarito gas tank. It’s misleading in the sense that Wilder HAS to do things Wlad wouldnt because he doesnt have the ability Wlad did.

It’s why Ward didn’t go full Provodnikov when seemingly losing the first Kova fight. It’s not a lack of heart, it’s a difference in ability and size/frame. Wlad is a huge man but he’s got 30ish pounds in Wilder and his movement is a little more “giant” like. Wilder doesnt have the “footwork” or technical ability but there’s a more natural looking mobility he possesses at his lower weight. Wilder will sell out because he HAS to but also because his style allows him to just wing shots.

Good read otherwise. Just that disagreement

Floyd could be considered greatest P4P ever if he'd thought all those fights you listed? I'm sorry, can't agree with that. He's nowhere near the all-time p4p top 20 as is, those fights wouldnt see him near the top 10 either.

Canelo is ascending while GGG is descending. Take away all personal feelings and you can see Canelo is better at this point and I would pick Canelo to ko GGG if they make a rematch.

I’m with Bread. Canelo wins by TKO in a rubber match with GGG
