He's going to demolish that paper mache stadium when he goes down.

No different than Joshua at 245-235, or Wilder at 225-215lbs, or Fury at 255-245lbs, Andy Ruiz is likely at his best if he can get under 255lbs but likely not below 240lbs.
This much weight over that is sillyComment

Ruiz needs to stay extremely active in this fight. Not sure if this is a great time to change the plan that worked the first time, and come in 15 lbs. heavier.Comment

Id be concerned of he was facing someone who can move and outbox him, but I dont see Joshua doing that. Ruiz looks to go in guns blazing an test Joshuas mindset more than anything. Joshua is really good, but im not sure about his confidence. I see doubt creeping in early in this fight.
My worry is that if Ruiz gets caught, the ref will jump in quickly and stop it to preserve a trilogy.Comment

I'm actually Glad he chose to stay heavy, if he would have lost weight it would take water and fat from the brain, and i would have been worried he would not have been able to take a punch the same way, when you dehydrate and diet it takes away the water and fat cells from the brain making it easier to concuss. so im glad he kept the weight.
Ruiz dont have to change his gameplan because he won, joshua has to change his!!
Good luck to both fighters, both are great!!
Ruiz could drop a stone from the 262lbs that he weighed in April, and not be at risk of the fluid around his brain being affected.
You think Ruiz is dehydrated at 260lbs+? lolComment

And yeah, the ref can be a worry with a quick stoppage for sure.
I think the judges will be against Andy too so he's going for broke early I bet.Comment

Yea, if joshua tries to clinch in close, ruiz is just going to press all his weight on him. 2nd heaviest HW fighter is not what i expected, but i see advantages for ruiz in this particular matchup. Whether it was their intention or just poor commitment, im not too sure.Comment

Interesting for Ruiz. I feel like he feels the added weight can only benefit him. He already was able to take AJ's shot when AJ weighed more. This could potentially benefit him if he can blast AJ out quickly or hinder him if it comes down to AJ hitting and moving and Ruiz requiring to chase.
I feel like whenever Ruiz has his moments of explosiveness, AJ doesn't know what to do and that's when Ruiz gets the better of him. The ultimate question will be, if AJ can land again, if Ruiz doesn't get KO'd, what will AJ do when Ruiz comes back stronger as before? It'll either be repeat or AJ has some serious changes made in camp that helps him out.
The only thing I can see helping AJ out is a lot of hitting and moving and trying to avoid exchanges. Regardless of weight, it seems Ruiz has the faster hands but we'll see if he still does with the weight gain and weight loss for Aj.Comment
