I've been in Harris County Jail for the last couple of months for my 2nd DWI, I just watched Hatton And Collazo go at it. My first take on the fight was how strong Hatton was in the Welterweight division, even though he was much smalller then Collazo, And in my opinion had a bigger punch. Hatton had a tough time with Collazo's southpaw stance, And height, But I felt like he did enough to win the fight even though Collazo thought diffently. The #1 prob with Hatton at Welterweight is his size most Def, But you have to remember it was his first fight at that divison,And it was against a very underrated slick southpaw that everybody and there maw maw have troubles with think Oscar and Pernell, And Chavez and Whitaker(Robbery). If he can get time to grow into the divison he can be a wrecking ball that he was in the Light Welterweight Division. That my Opinion. That what I saw. Thats what I think. No hating.
Just watched Hatton Collazo!!!!!!

I also had at 115-112 because of the knockdown. Without the knockdown it's 115-113, and that's a damn close fight. I do agree with what you said about Hatton's strength. A couple months ago I said Hatton was one of the strongest fighter's I've seen in at 140-147 ever and I stand by it. He wasn't exactly getting pushed around in clinches, but he wasn't pushing Collazo around either. When you factor in that he's 5'6''...that's pretty special.Comment

i, too, had it at 115-112 for hatton. no way did collazo win enough rounds to recover from that KD and win the fight.
another score i had was 114-113 hatton.Comment

I think the initial reaction for people thinking Collazo was robbed was because no one was used to Hatton losing any rounds. Whenever an undefeated, special fighter who is thought as 'unbeatable' starts losing rounds, people usually score it for the underdog. Just the way it is.Comment

When I first saw the fight I had it 114-113 to Hatton, but then when I saw it for the second time i gave it to Hatton 116-111, I was just shocked by Collazo's resistance when I saw it on't tele.Comment

Hatton looked bullish and strong, marauding and mauling, gutting it out. But weighing 158 at 5'6 showed - he looked an awful lot slower than usual and not near as agile or flexibile. He looked too beefy and robotic as a welterweight, but a bull none the less.Comment
