  • A 283 pound knockout

What the heck is Ruiz thinking!!! This looks like Ruiz believes his win the first time was a fluke and he's just in the rematch for the money! I'm convinced he's gonna be beat tomorrow in brutal fashion. 283 pounds! will slow him to the point Joshua will pot shot him.

Haha you're right. I wasn't thinking clearly. That's what I get for multitasking while at work.

If ruiz has to rehydrate from from his third highest fight weight ever hes in more trouble than some think . Iam personally not reading too much into it . Ruiz was wearing his clothes liekly had full pockets and a 5lb hat on , hes likely sitting around 270lbs which is pretty much spot on the last fight . They wanna give josh a bit of confidence he will open up more . However any amount of weight more than the first fight cant help him chase a moving josh around the ring , assuming josh sticks to his parker fight esque gameplan of the old stick and move .
LOL I was telling another poster on here I wasn't thinking clearly since I was multitasking while at work but you're right. heavy weights don't rehydrate

Nonsense...he's fat because he's lazy and not weight discipline. This was not planned.

Boxing is one of the hardest workouts you can do so for a guy to be training for 3 months and actually PUT ON weight, he's not going his hardest and/or he's eating everything he sees. The scales don't lie, ever. And if you idiots want to spin this like it's a good thing that Ruiz got fatter, good luck with that. This is a professional sport. Why do you think Arreola never won his big fights? Also, AJ has been talking to wladimir Klitschko about some of his training and klitschko told him to stop lifting and running on the treadmill. He said for AJ to concentrate on sparring more which is what he did and also why he lost 10 pounds.
I don't think he put on weight in camp, he would've still lost weight but went into camp really heavy. It wouldn't surprise me if he came into camp around 315-320 lbs.

This fat bastard is about to get the Buster Douglas treatment

Comon man, how checked out could he be for this huge fight that he put on another 15 lbs

If I had bought a ticket for this I would be so mad right now

You're right. He wouldn't. I wasn't thinking since rehydrating doesn't apply to heavyweights. My bad

                  • Wow 283 is a lot for a 6" guy. By the way look at him next to aj. No way he's 6-2. At most he's 6.

This isn't even his highest weight.. his fat and weight fooled all of you the first time.. We'll see if AJ learned from his mistake, unlike some of these obvious remedial posters. Lol
The problem isn't that he's 15 lbs heavier. The problem is what he had to be doing in order to gain 15 lbs.

This is a surefire sign that he hasn't been training nearly as hard as he's lead on, and probably hasn't been eating properly either.

My money is on him getting knocked out. And it will be what he deserves for not treating this fight as seriously as the first one.
