Do Boxing fans place too much emphasis on perfect records?

The Masvidal-Diaz UFC fight that bumped Canelo's fight had two guys fighting each other with a combined 24 losses between them. Yet UFC and general public fans didn't care.

AJ is on the verge of being washed out of the sport if he gets his 2nd career loss against Ruiz.

Do you think boxing fans reluctance to support Boxers with losses on their records is the main reason the top boxers are continually ducking each other?

Yes they do. That's why fighters these days run thru a whole slew of bums to pad their record.
