Best losing performance you have seen?

Which boxer have you seen put in the best performance but ultimately lost?(of all time)

I would say recently Joshua in the first Ruiz fight

Meldrick Taylor vs Chavez is one that I immediately thought of.

Golovkin. If a lot of people think he won, then it's a pretty good performance in a loss.

Most recently I'd say Adam Lopez vs Oscar Valdez

Holyfield knocking down Bowe in the 3rd fight when he had hepatitis was amazing.

Emanuel Augustus counterpunching Mayweather until he got stopped was also pretty awesome. Of course, EA had a ton of great performances in fights he "lost".

Obviously Gatti - Ward I sets the standard for "going out on your shield".

I dont have a best but Hopkins vs Jones is noteworthy. Take into consideration how bad Jones made all his other opponents before and after look.
