But like a fanboy I’m sure your gonna continue with this narrative that Canelo is a diva! No he happens to be the Aside boxer and he’s entitled to a fair share of what he’s earned
that mandatory purse 60/40 split only happens if you can't come to an agreement and it goes to purse bid. Canelo could've negotiated other terms if he wanted the fight and he had plenty of time to do it. Canelo knew ggg was his mandatory before he took the Cotto fight and won the belt. Ggg had to take step aside $ for that fight to happen. If Canelo wanted to face ggg for real and felt that he needed time to negotiate properly, then why didn't he negotiate with him leading into the khan fight? That's exactly what he did 1 yr later leading leading into the Chavez Jr fight.

As far as the 10 mil offer. Be real. That was a flat fee offer with no ppv cut. Who in the hell would take that offer when they know they're getting screwed out of about 15 mil? Ggg got about 25 mil when the fight finally happened with a ppv cut. Canelo groupies really don't make valid arguments when it comes to trying to defend the duck that happened back then. Just accept it for what it was... He avoided ggg until he felt there was less risk.

Wbc tried to win canelos love back with their other made up Mayan belts but he spit on it.

The wbc was so scared of pissing Canelo off again once he became wbc mw champion again, they got creative and created the franchise belt so that he wouldn't have to face any mandatory because they knew that facing Charlo wasn't in his plans. This avoids them having to strip Canelo for not facing a mandatory, keeps him happy and essentially prevents mandatories from earning the fights that they really want, but instead gifts them a title.
Then this is the WBC's fucc up, not Canelo's.

The WBC announced on Wednesday that Canelo Alvarez has been reclassified as the organization's "franchise champion" and that interim titleholder Jermall Charlo has been elevated to being its full world titleholder.

The WBC said the designation was made via mutual agreement between the WBC, Alvarez and Golden Boy Promotions (Alvarez's promoter). Indeed, Golden Boy was not at all upset with the reclassification even if it means Alvarez (52-1-2, 35 KOs), 28, of Mexico, is no longer the WBC world titleholder.

Come on BigStomps. I know Canelo is your guy but he and his team were involved in the decision knowing it would mean he had to drop the belt. Don't give him a pass.

It don't matter that Canelo and his team agreed with the decision.
I mean if your running a business then how the fucc you gonna let another man dictate how you run your business????
The WBC should of told Canelo that Charlo is his mandatory and that if he wants to keep being the WBC champ then he has to fight Charlo.
If you don't then we gonna strip you. That simple!
That's why i always say fucc the WBC and that fat piece of shet Suleiman!
Yes im a Canelo fan but why the fucc is the WBC catering to him??
That's why i say it's the WBC's fault cause they have the final say so.

GGG was never canelo mandatory. Holy crap guys. Don't talk ****. Remember that canelo went up from 154 to 160 to CHALLENGE GGG. Never has GGG been a mandatory for canelo as they were in different weight classes.

He and Haney should've just said no thanks and tell the WBC that they prefer to fight for it. The history books will show that they didn't win the world titles in the ring🥊

I guess you either don't follow boxing or you got the taste of cinnamon on your lips.

GGG was the mandatory for the winner between Canelo-Cotto. Canelo won but dropped his belt to fight Khan claiming he wasn't a full middle weight. Next fight he took was super middle (but he isn't a full middle remember) fighting a severely drained Chavez Jr.

So yes, GGG was his mandatory that's why they gave him the belt after stripping Canolita.

That's why I lost all respect for Canelo
