  • Comments Thread For: Demetrius Andrade To Return Next Month. Against Luke Keeler?

WBO world middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade (28-0, 17 KOs) will be one of the first title holders returning to the ring in 2020. The 31-year-old from Rhode Island defended his world title twice successfully in 2019 against Artur Akavov and Macej Suluki, respectively. The southpaw will be back in late January his promoter Eddie Hearn revealed on an Instagram Live video from Saudi Arabia today (Tuesday) just four days out from Anthony Joshua's attempt to win back his world heavyweight titles from Andy Ruiz Jr.

Thing is I am impressed that Hearn can convince Andrade to not chase BJS. Andrade has said himself that he’d move up to fight BJS. Let’s assume the worst, BJS vacates his WBO seeing how Andrade is chasing that fight, then at the very least Andrade becomes a 3 Division Champion should he win the vacant 168.

So why isn’t Andrade chasing BJS? I just don’t get it.

Andrade could easily make noise that out of the whole Matchroom USA stable he’s the only 3 Division Champ and they could use that against Canelo to make the fight.

So the only ones to blame are Andrade.

Does anyone in the top 10 wanna fight Andrade? I don't follow social media so maybe he gets called out and I miss it but I get the impression he wants the real fights and can't get any of them

find these people who have turned down Andrade, this is a terrible fight. Sick of fighters acting like they are avoided and this is the best they can find.

The wbo have somebody called DIGNUM in top 15 middleweight in the world from UK

          Who the hell is this

Was suposed to be Luis Arias but Keeler beat him up. He's not as bad as Hogan but no world beater.

                I called this hahaha.

My mate Tom Doran iced Keeler in a couple of rounds, I think that tells us all we need to know.

Terrible fight, Andrade is completely wasting his prime.

                  GTFOH...

Hogan is far better than Keeler.

                  Hogan arguably beat Munguia.

What’s Keeler ever done on that level?
