Buddy Mcgirt is having a bad summer.

He lost 3 big fights within the past 2 months or so, Tarver-Hopkins, Gatti-Baldomir and Jones-Prince Ajamu.

McGirt is not Ajamu's trainer. He was asked to assist in Ajamu's corner and provide tips on how to beat Roy Jones.
McGirt was there because of William Guthrie.

lol. Well I don't think it was his fault.
Tarver had to lose all that weight and Hopkins was just the man that night. Baldomir was just too strong, Gatti was ready. Only way Gatti would have won is if he boxed(which Buddy told him to do).

McGirt is a loyal trainer who stays with his fighters for a long time.
                    No shame in that.
