Comments Thread For: Hearn: It's a 50-50 Fight, But When Joshua Wins It Will Be Sweet

Eddie Hearn, promoter for Anthony Joshua, says his boxer must overcome any mental scars from the June TKO defeat at the hands of Andy Ruiz. Ruiz, who accepted the fight on late notice, dropped Joshua four times for a seventh round stoppage to capture the WBO, IBF, WBA, IBO world titles at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Hearn is really a snake oil salesmen/carnival barker.

Ruiz will likely lose. But winning first fight was a wake up call that he is top ten.
His win over Josh put ruiz on map. Now he will lose like he was supposed to.
          So that's ok for ruiz

"...but the way he has bounced back is admirable." No junior, he hasn't bounced back yet! The fight is next week. For all we know, maybe it will only his head which will bounce off the canvas...

Joshua should fight Ruiz the way he fought Joseph Parker. He knows he can't trade with Ruiz, so he'll have to use his range. Ruiz didn't have any success until Joshua got overconfident, and Joshua knows that, so he'll be a lot more cautious IMO.

If ruiz lost I bet Joshua don't give him a rematch

This is so neutral. The effing promoter has a horse in the race. Neutral judges, neutral ref, neutral site, all chosen by Hearn. Now he says, "when AJ wins." The fix is in.

Does Hearn sound exactly like a guy who is very giddy and happy because he knows the first fight was rigged and he knows Joshua is going to steam roll fatso easily on Saturday night? Or is it just me!?
