Favorite Commentators?

It's easier to list the once I don't like:

Lederman - he kills me with that voice and "JIM!" shouts at the end of each score reading...
Roy Jones Jr. - Always talks about himself in the 3rd person (not lately, since he has been KOed)

rest I'm cool with!

I like Harold Lederman. What gets me is when he goes on too long and Lampley has to stop doing commentary for like 30 seconds.

Al Bernstein (extremely knowledgable)
Steve Farhood (see above comment)
Lampley (same, a vet in sports commentating)
Atlas (same)
Steve Albert (but grandma, what white teeth you have!)
Foreman (a good one, one of the best "boxer"-commentators)
Merchant (you know... )
Kellerman (not bad, very opinionated)

my all time favorite team is Tim Ryan and Gil Clancy.

my favorite right now is Barry Tompkins and Rich Marotta.


I used to really like Alex Wallau as well.

Merchant and Lampley. Im not crazy about Joe Tessitore, his voice is kind of annoying.

I liked George Foreman the best, Lewis is a good commentator. Lampley and Merchant are good entertaining commentators in my opinion. I dont have anything against Teddy Atlas but he should be the back up guy not the main commentator for ESPN. I dont really like Jones as a commentator. Barry McGuigan is a good.

I liked Showtime's broadcasts alot better when that had Czyz. They should bring him back.
