Wasn't flush or that straight either. Both kd's.

Long arms better for straight punches than hooks
Agree... His hooks are terrible and look like arm punches.

If he did gave a hook game... He woulda sent the Gypsy to the shadow realm

It was a punch from the gods, I guess Fury might be an atheist seeing as he hops in and out of different religious garments like it was a fashion show.

Wilder’s build somewhat reminds me of a heavyweight Tommy Hearns. And, as with Hearns, when Deontay gets full extension on that straight right, it’s almost impossible to withstand.

His left hook helped him to drop Fury both times and did some damage.

The right hand was the big shot but the following left hooks were mean and did damage too.

Wilder kinda have a long checking, leading left hook that is interesting to follow or set up his right hand.

Overall Wilder's game is organized around that massive right hand.

So Wilder kinda have a hook game, but not inside.

Liston had like +11 ? or something like that so he had freaky arms.
... Right... Liston had longer arms and he also was much smaller...

Wilder's arms are far too long for any real inside quality - he ends of rabbit punching.

His windmilling and straight right hand are the right choice of approach, crude but effective.
