    Is Wilder FOTY?

    Crazy right?

A guy that lost more rounds than he won in 2019 could wind up being named Fighter of the Year.

Yet, no one has had more spectacular performances. No one has had not one but 2 knockouts go viral.

    Well, have at it.

Give your pros or cons. Tell why Wilder deserves it or why he doesn't. Tell why someone else deserves it more or why someone else doesn't quite match what Wilder has done.

Try to keep it fact based even if you have bias one way or another.

Because they were suppose to be easy fights and changed nothing on the HW scene.

Taylor, Inoue, Canelo even Spence deserve it more for tougher fights and/or unifications.

I haven't heard anyone say he should be fighter of the year. Canelo will win it with his well planed KO of Kovalev. Most viewers thought Wilder lost to Fury so Wilder will not be fighter of the year.

He not even close.... If Ruiz wins this rematch i think he should win.

          Then you have Inoue, Canelo

No way knocking out Breazele then beating someone you knocked out is enugh for that accolade.

I see that Saturday night high still aint wore off lmao

I'd say Josh Taylor had a really great year.

Spence as well with two successful ppv headlines and unifying at 147.

If your gonna give the award to Wilder based strictly on his knockouts then im gonna vote for Virgil Ortiz then.
He also had two great knockouts this year and he might get a third on December 13th....
Plus he didn't lose as many rounds as Wilder did....

Real talk, if Ruiz is able to stop AJ again, I don't see how you deny him.

And Errol dominated a top p4p guy then out-rumbled a guy notoriously tough so he may have the best argument.

But, those Wilder KOs went hella viral and we might get a surprise. It's not like it's never happened before...

I remember all the haters were angry that Breazeale didn’t get his title shot against Wilder. They claimed Wilder was ducking him until he KOd him in the first round.

Wilder has had a good year but he hasnt had the kind of year Inoue or Canelo has had.
