Floyd's skills and boxing IQ were a sight to behold.

No one can ever take that away from him. Especially not a one dimensional fighter like Deontay.

Historically it has been more difficult for a black man to achieve acceptance for his accomplishments than say a white man. So in my opinion Wilder is not expressing racial bitterness but instead an understanding of the culture he stems from. Give the man some respect for his paradigm. If you were in his shoes you might feel the same.
Yes i wouldn't deny any of those historical events and that black people used to be discriminated - both formally and informally post slavery. But what of it applies to Wilder exactly? Wilder is born '85 and the gripes seem to revolve around that he isn't praised enough, what Mayweather is doing and what Joshua is doing - all of it tied into blackness that somehow is supposed to explain these different aspects that are "unfair".

If i were in his shoes i would recognize the privilege i actually have and if i had complaints that certainly wouldn't be where they'd come from.

Clever Heather measured leather whether she had to weather the Mayweather storm altogether or never.

I dont get why ppl get on Wilder about selling PPVs. Wtf cares. I just want to see a good scrap and he always delivers drama. He genuinely is the big drama show. Tyson was a megastar all around the world. Tyson fought bums and KOed them in the first found. Ppl still tuned in. This is just a different era. Wilder cant do anything more than hes doing. The PPV model is taking a hit, not Wilders fault.

I wish more fighters had Wilders mindset.

Just for the record no one not even Aj has the PPV success that Floyd has and I really think that the success stems from most people wanting to see him lose.

Windmill Wilder just hating because Floyd epitomized what it meant to become your own boss. That man started a business model unrivaled by no other boxer. Yeah he’s flashy and arrogant but he is Money May and more people gravitate towards him like him or not, than that of Wilder.

Your right, times have changed but the idea of discrimination is deeply ingrained in some as it was indoctrinated into them by older ones and perpetuated by the biased media. The end result is that while we may like everyone we probably trust those more who are like we are. I sincerely believe that only GOD will be able to completely fix this problem.
