History will not be kind to Wilder and rightfully so; in 40+ fights he has beaten no one. He will need decisive wins over AJ, Ruiz, Usyk and Fury if he hopes to have any semblance of a legacy.

Joshua is yet to fight a former champion too, well except for Martin, Klitschko and Parker... but f**k them so I say he hasn’t fought one.

Muhammad Ali lost to Leon Spinks in Spinks' 8th pro fight. But he's still the greatest. AJ is up there with the great.

Wilder on the other hand is up there with the bums since he only fights bums. And true Americans have spoken by not buying his fights despite millions rinsed on marketing. The bum sold less than 80k PPV buys. LMAOOOOOOO. Yanks aren't as dumb as I think - the internet yanks tend to give good yanks a bad name, lol.

        Mr 77k PPV. LMAOOOO.

All i know is AJ lost to a fat short midget

How can you have 43 fights in a division without beating a champion or former champ? The only former champ he has fought is a 50% fit Fury, who was coming off a hiatus and he lost the fight.

AJ in 23 fights has beaten 4 champs and former champs. Even Whyte has beaten one.

Wilder has to be the most overrated boxer in history. LMAO.
Wilder isnt even RATED. LMAO. no one is saying wilder is good.

AJ was overrated. He lost to a guy Wilder would OBLITERATE

Well, according to him, he's not planning his retirement party any time soon, so plenty of time to build a legacy that holds up. As of today, he would be the betting favorite against all of those guys - even Fury.

AJ did way more in 6 years, than Wilder in 11. Overrated, but Wilder built his career off of his name. Also, when you have the power to knock anyone out in one punch, doing so doesn't mean much. Wilder could obliterate Ruiz, but he's not hard to hit, himself. The man couldn't box to save his life, as shown when Ortiz landed on him almost at will in the rematch.

Well, Wilder hasn`t shown anything to suggest he beats somebody like Ruiz.

As much as I like to troll Wilder and his girlfriend fans, let's be real for a moment. Wilder isn't afraid of anyone number one. Perhaps he didn't want to fight Klitschko back in 2015, but let's leave that for a moment.

The major reason why his resume is pretty average is because he's not a draw, or at least hasn't been a draw up until a year ago.

Think about this for a minute:

Wilder's official purse against Ortiz in 2018 was 2.1 million dollars compared to 20 million this time around.

That's crazy and shows how little interest there was in Deontay Wilder pre Fury. Very very little interest.

Now, some would say the interest is still very little, and they'd probably be right because his numbers are not good at all. However, he's played his hand well as a potential opponent for Fury and Joshua (the money men in the division), and because he's an asset to a crumbling PBC stable, they've guaranteed him huge sums so he wont jump ship.

But that's why in the past he hasn't fought better opposition I think. They money simply wasn't there.
