  • Comments Thread For: Joshua-Ruiz Rematch: Judges, Referee Revealed

The neutral group of officials for the Anthony Joshua-Andy Ruiz Jr. rematch includes judges from England, the United States and Canada. The sanctioning bodies involved in their second fight for the IBF, IBO, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles have approved Connecticut's Glenn Feldman, England's Steve Gray and Quebec's Benoit Roussel to score it Saturday night in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. Puerto Rico's Luis Pabon has been assigned as the referee for the immediate rematch between Joshua and Ruiz.

Judges won't be needed in this fight. I don't believe either fighter will be shy about throwing punches with bad intentions.

So they have a judge from England why no judge from Cali? Or Mexico? Ruiz isn’t getting a decision victory if it goes to judges... I do like the ref though he legit

I know it’s a country, and they have one from the USA but that don’t mean sh.it to a Mexican American, it would have to be a Mexican American judge or a Mexican judge so it can be even, they USA judge from Connecticut will go against the Mexican Ruiz

If the judges are needed, it would shock me. On the other hand Luis Pabon gets all the good travel fights it seems. He isn’t a bad ref

Luis Pabon is not a good ref. They should've called the tall young black guy with the bald head. I can't think of his name right now but I think he is out of the tri-state.

Makes sense and it’s been that way forever in boxing so I don’t even know why I’m trying to make it out as it’s fair anyway
