Anyone else prefer Jimmy Lennon JR over Michael Buffer?

I always dig Jimmy Lennon JR. Watching him do a fight in Mexico (in Spanish) is outstanding. Watching him do a fight in Mexico for an international audience like Chavez vs Haugen in front of 130,000....just crazy.

Like both but Lennon offers a less flashy, business only deliverance than Buffer. We sometimes forget that his father, Jimmy Lennon Sr. was an historical announcer as well. I wonder if there will be a third generation announcer in their family.

I prefer Lennon too. I'm not a fan of Buffer's "Let's get this party started" line.

Lennon is way better than buffer.

Better voice and classier presentation.

Only one better than him in history is his father.

These days, yeah. They've both always been great and Buffer still is, but I feel as he's getting older his voice naturally isn't quite what it once was. Back in the day though nothing could beat "Let's get ready to rumbllllllle" before a big fight.
