COSMOPOLITAN, LAS VEGAS - Now that Deontay Wilder held up his end of the bargain, his rematch against Tyson Fury on February 22nd will be formally announced next week. Wilder stopped Luis Ortiz last Saturday with a big right hand at the end of the 7th round. Prior to the single punch knockout, Wilder had lost most of the rounds against Ortiz.

Is he? Or is this just the softest era? Who even has a chin in the HW division anymore?

Wilder more powerful than Foreman? Tyson, Lewis, Shavers, Louis, Marciano? You gotta be kidding 😅this era is one of the worst ever. Still, give him credit for his power.

Translation: I have to up Wilder because I have to sell the Fury Wilder fixed rematch where both of their value will go up again (fake draw). Because Fury and Wilder are both failing to make money or draw big numbers, so they need each other. Because both are afraid to lose to Joshua now. So I have to lie to sell the fixed Wilder Fury rematch.

I think he has everyone on the list outside of Louis and George.

If McCall walked around the ring crying and defenseless when Wilder was punching at him he’d be dead. Lol.

Regardless, all the guys you’ve mentioned here are in the same ball park as each other, so all should be known as all time great punchers.

In Rocky Marciano Era heavyweights were 6ft. and under 200lbs. Deontay Wilder is putting huge giants 250lbs flat on their ass with 1 punch. This is definitely the biggest era of Giants in boxing history, the bigger they are the Harder They Fall

How would we know if he punches harder than Earnie Shavers? There's no way in telling.

It's amazing how much more God-Like the past generations become with every passing year.

Wilder has a crazy hard puch easily on par with foreman and shavers and definitely harder than Tyson.

That's not to say he's not a scrub when it comes to his boxing ability. But that shows how dangerous his punch is. His power completely negates his lack of ability.

Right now I see fury as the only HW that can beat him and that's just because wilder can't really touch him.
