Sucks cuz Valdez is a likable fighter but you can clearly see his limitations. I saw his ceiling several fights ago. I used to be a fan but got off the bandwagon for that reason. He was refreshing at first but then he stopped evolving as a fighter. He still loops his shots and his offensive is repetitive.

I cant picture him going past 6th rd against Berchelt.

Who knows Valdez hits like a truck too but Berchelt will be the favorite.

TKO in 7th or 8th.by Berchelt, just must stronger and faster plus bigger man!

Valdez has good offensive weapons but he’s too predictable and he hasn’t been able to assimilate his offense with Eddie Reynoso’s defensive techniques!

He’s too wide and can’t fight well going backwards which takes good footwork, understanding of distance and disguising your offense!

If Valdez is somehow able to fight seamlessly from his off his own offense and Reynoso’s defense effectively then he still would have a long night but it just would be a long night for Berchelt too but still the favorite!

Valdez needs to heal up and get back in the gym working on head movement! His key to a surprise victory would be ripping bodyshots all night and circling Berchelt!
