Did Bert Cooper (RIP) have the potential to be an ATG?

It's interesting because he was the same height and built similar to Mike Tyson and had legit power in both of his hands. He also had exceptional technique and skills. His problem though seemed to have been drugs. I haven't followed his career , so I can't speak on it. But is there anyone here that knows if he could have been an ATG if he would have laid off the drugs and the partying?

lost his career to the drink, I can relate. The guy talented though, loved his fights with Moorer and Holyfield. He could have been a champion by winning those fights.

So he could have been Heavyweight Champ, but not an ATG.
