Lomachenko is ducking Haney, Lopez, Commey, Garcia and Davis at 135.

**** it, if a guy has a 0 in his record and is between 118 and 147, Loma is obviously ducking.

it would have been better if haney had fought campbell to create a more credible opponent for loma because now haney looks kinda silly being a champ with no resume. its the same reason commey and lopez are fighting. the winner will be a legit contender to loma. if he had just fought lopez now it would be beating an unprovne guy. lets hope haney doesnt just run with the loma's ducking me therefore i dont have to fight anyone narrative like charlo is doing. lets hope he gets at least one win

I don't understand why they petitioned to fight for the title then give it up without second thought. I know undisputed meant something to Lomachenko. I wonder if it's caused discord between them and Top Rank.

I'm wondering who's decision it was, because Haney wasn't even in line to fight Loma. he won to be mandatory....but he was in the back of the line. Lomachenko lost the title for no real reason.

Just like about 6months ago Loma haters started saying why won't he fight Lopez is Loma scared.
Loma says get a belt to make it worth his time and now that Lopez looked crap against some tall Asian guy these posters have since gone quiet.
Fast forward to Oct. 2019 rinse and repeat only to put Haneys name instead of Lopez.
These Loma haters sure are a special kind of coward.

He fought Marriaga coming off a loss & moving up a weight class. He fought Rigo moving up 2 weight classes. He fought Walters coming off a one year layoff. He fought Crolla. But you think fighting Haney would be silly?

He was in line. There was going to be a 4 man eliminator. Lopez pulled out. They granted Lomachenko a vacant title shot against Campbell, who was supposed to be in the 4 man eliminator. So that left Abdullaev vs. Haney as the final eliminator. Haney won and when you win a vacant title you have to fight a mandatory next.

Thank you. I remember the tournament and all of that, I was just unaware that the WBC has that rule about having to face a mandatory if they won a vacant title. Probably because the orgs never follow their own ****ing rules

ofcourse it's silly. considering other options, haney is very little money. i think loma considering big money match-ups in this upcoming year.

i forgot his name, there are guy who beat morales then chase pacquiao but ignored. haney is that guy, he's B+ talent avoided by many because of difficult fighting style, never develop in to elite because lack of big fights and in the end he will be forgotten.

not everybody as lucky as winky wright.
