Back when Williams was unknown I used to make threads about him and I believe you were one of the very few posters who recognized and acknowledged his potential.

At first he reminded me of a young Bernard Hopkins and the more I watch him, he is like those boxer punchers from the 80s. I get the old school vibe from him.

I always thought he was talented, but I was actually one of the guys who kind of wrote him off following the Charlo loss, I remember watching him against Gallimore and thinking he hadn’t or couldn’t recover mentally from that defeat. He well and truly proved me wrong against Hurd though. I’d actually like to see him rematch Jermall at some point.
