floyd weighs in at 147 right now. corrales weighed in at 135. thats a good 12 lb and 2 division difference.

besides, whats the point of a rematch? corrales getting a rematch with floyd is like gatti getting a rematch with floyd or byrd getting yet another rematch with wlad.

Corrales can't beat Mayweather, it would be a waste of time. They are just completely different fighters. Corrales should stick to dominating lightweight and junior welterweight and keep adding to his already impressive win list. But Corrales isn't that kind of guy. He'll want a rematch til the day he dies.
