Maybe Wilder is NOT liked by boxing fans because his style suxx, and he looks horrendous in the ring and rely on his reach and power.

Mike Tyson was not the greatest either, he was afro american but he became a cross over international star because he was deadly but also beautifull to watch, he had tremendous skills, some moves were magnificient, he didn't only rely on his reach and size.
Everybody admired him. he had charisma and was intriguing

Lewis had a boring style similar to Wladimir but he ko guys

The great Marciano was losing badly to Walcott who was a old man but landed his Suzy Q very late in the fight

Wilder haters tend to be of nationalities and ethnic groups not of his kind. So what I propose is this.....for those of you who do not like him because he isn’t nigerian or isn’t british or isn’t Mexican.....would you be a fan if he was?

I'm British, White and in my thirties but I'm just not a fan of his personality.
Considering the HW champions that I've seen in my lifetime, Wilder and Fury have never acted like Champions.

His ability to KO people is undeniable. His ability to KO top level Heavyweights is only 50% proven.

I'm surprised to see anyone call Wilder a 'marketing genius', especially as he can barely string a grammatically correct sentence together and screams BOMBSQUAD when he doesn't have an answer.

If he was a marketing genius, his Breazeale fight would have been PPV and sold.

Tyson Fury getting off the couch to fight Wilder only sold how it did because of Fury - which says a lot.

No doubt, he has put on a couple of highlight reel KO's in his past two fights but he was extremely lucky to retain the WBC against Fury.
