It’s very typical and here’s factual proof:

Brandon Rios had just lost at 135 to Alvarado
Mosley had just lost to Floyd
Clottey had just lost to Cotto
Broner had three losses
Oscar has lost Floyd
Margarito got destroyed by Mosley and was weight drained for a dubious title at 150


Not to mention the trilogies PAC’s had that account for 12 fights.
