Comments Thread For: Porter, Danny and Mikey Garcia Three Finalists To Face Pacquiao

For now, there stands a better chance of Manny Pacquiao celebrating his 41st birthday before deciding on his next opponent. Still, the eight-division titlist and current full time Senator in his native Philippines has a pretty good idea of what lies ahead. If it works out as planned, he and his team believe it will a year to remember.

Porter more than the others deserves the fight.

Danny Garcia would sell the best on PPV I think.

Mikey needs to rebuild his brand after getting dominated by Errol Spence.

Shawn Porter is also coming off a loss (even though he gave Spence a great fight) and doesn't even bring the Mexican fanbase to the table like Mikey would. I think he is the least attractive option.

None of those three opponents sound exciting. Just fight Floyd in the rematch, wrap up a great career.

Porter or Danny would be cool. Mikey showed he doesn’t belong at WW and seems to only be in it for the money. As good as he was, that loss to Spence was so bad that I think he needs to show us all something before he warrants another big fight.

Scrap Mikey. He's not a welterweight, got shut out in his last fight and showed little desire to actually take risks in the ring. Let him go to 140 and try and establish himself there. Porter or Danny would be good options.

No way Mikey re-establishes himself with a current 140 champion...Josh Taylor & Jose Ramirez would dominate Mikey
