I have no idea what went down, but I suspect the lines of inquiry will revolve around whether the amounts of Dianabol found in Whytes systen could have gotten there some way aside from deliberate usage.

Without any figures I wouldn't even care to speculate, but if the levels found were consistent with deliberate usage, even of a single dose, then he should already have been punished accordingly.

We've only got hearsay to go on, but the suggestion is that the levels found were very low and the window in which the drug could have been taken was quite small due to the passed VADA tests. If you know roughly when the drug was taken and the half life of the drug it you should be able to calculate how much was taken and whether the dose was consistent with deliberate usage.

It was exactly that sort of calculation that initially cleared Contador when he was discovered with low levels of Clenbuterol in one test despite having tested clear the prvious day - though it is worth noting that upon later arbitration he was banned for the offense.

What a farce, far too slow a process. Too controversial too. How can you have different testing protocols around the world so depending on the body you're tested by you're innocent or guilty.

Can you imagine how many people would have got popped if tested in the wrong country. Needs standardisation.
