wilder has good power and a good(not great) right hand. add that to the fact the man can take a decent ppunch on top of willing to dish it out as well as take chances and you have the perfect recipe for a pretty successful HW in an era where outside of the top 3-5 everyone is ****
What makes Wilder's right hand so deadly?

not really. you're looking into it too much. the stars have to align. there are many different kinds of punchers. wilder is like tommy hearns. he has everything you need and nothing you don't. muscle and bones exactly where they need to be, and very little where they don't. makes for an explosive puncher because of the leverage he generates. he doesn't even have to work hard to throw hard. he has power late in a fight. again, it's all about leverage with wilder.
tyson was explosive and used a lot of energy to be that explosive. little levers don't lose a lot of energy at the end of their punches. got his ass into it. george foreman had "heavy hands" that could hurt you through your gloves and on your arms. same with shavers. big, heavy upper bodies and super dense bones. giant hands. there are just different kinds of punchers.
then there are some guys who make you think "why the **** does this guy hit this f#cking hard. it doesn't make any sense."
randall bailey should not exist. but he does. and that's boxing. one of the reasons why fighting is different from other athletics, and it's not just the best athlete who wins ever time in spite of the sport relying so heavily on all aspects of being an athlete. corrie sanders is another one. guys get hit and they're like, "there's no way in hell that guy exists and just hit me that hard." and they don't get up!
there are some common trappings. they've all got dense bones. they're all accurate, all very explosive. all take risks.Comment

1) THAT isn't WilderWilder's right hand is insane, regardless of how you rank him overall. What makes it so debilitating? There are heavyweights his height or taller who don't have that power, and there are more muscular heavyweights who don't. Is there an explanation for it besides "he just has it"
THAT is a part time nigerian 'ancestrraryry spirit
2) fighting bums, getting that al haymon protection fighting an old guy who failed his medical and a few fixed/pre-determined fights to steal clout off that british bodybuilder....Comment

Most times he does throw the left,he uses the left hand to obstruct the view of the opponent then load the rich hand.
Watch the Ortiz KO again.Comment

Yes, that's true, but pushing left arm forward before pushing strongly right one feels more powerful than pushing strongly right one alone. I might be wrong though.Comment
