Reading these posts here, i'm wondering which british fans have said Whyte is the fav vs wilder.
I don't think ive seen or heard that anywhere.
I think these wilder fans live in a make belief world built on a deep seige mentality, xenophobia and racist mindset and project that every day online.
they only see what they want to see.
Wilder is that guy who came to Sheffield, knocked out Fraudley Harrison (a guy, who wilder has morphed into personality wise). Was well received, appreciated and hyped up by the british media and fans.
I used to watch his US fights and he did not get that type of backing in the US. Neither goldenboy or dr narcisse backed him early.
When sky sports were putting wilder on the commentary team, despite wilder not being able to string a sentence together coherently, it was to subsequently build up wilder's profile and help sell that future ppv fight.
Wilder fighting Whyte, has the potential to be like AJ vs whyte..if only for the press conferences.
You're shooting yourelves in the foot by dismissing whyte.
in the uk most brits didnt evben know who whyte was when he boxed aj. The press conference, the gloves are off, and the fight itself established whyte as a CRAZY mother****er who doesnt give a **** and will fight.
That's why british fans like whyte.
It's more than just about his performances in the ring.
in our minds, we've already built up the hype to see a wilder vs whyte fight.
Whyte is a perfect extention of british boxing as a whole..with characters like Chisora, Fury, Haye etc.
remember in the UK, Frank Bruno was/is liked far more than Lennox Lewis.
Even aj is catching hate now with his none stop attempts to apply words of wisdom to his predicament.
i think in one video on insta he was randomly saying

that suggests to me he lives in cloud cuckoo land..and that's what happened to amir khan...people despise that ****.

of course aj is popular with the females and casuals..but the real fans here probably do like dillian whyte more.
As for the fight itself, whyte could catch wilder with a left hook that ****s him up. or he could be brezealed in the first round. or it could be a complete war for 5-6 rounds. We dont know because we just don't fking know what level wilder is really at.
it could be wilder vs parker, pulev, povetkin and even chisora..i think we would like to see any of those fights because we have a kind of idea of what level those guys are at.
he's only beaten an old ortiz and lost to a 50% tyson fury..and im yet convinced those were choreographed/fixed fights or like the first ortiz fight, full of cheating.
we would be seeing wilder box a guy who isnt controlled by the pbc or doesnt have a special agenda against aj/hearn (fury/frank warren, lived and breathed off hating aj/hearn for a long time)...so it would be viewed as a legit fight.
if wilder did destroy whyte, Wilder would def gain a lot of genuine respect from brits..and not just for the outcome of the fight, but even that he took the fight and proved he isnt just another dr narcisse puppet.Comment
