The problem with the Fury case, which i think also happened with Eric Molina, is that UKAD never acknowledge their failed tests until at least a year after the tests, which is a huge problem. Because it means fighters had failed tests but nobody knew and carried on fighting.

Whyte’s case is different. He failed a test, no statements about why he failed or what he took. Everything goes dark, no ban, no information about anything, then he’s suddenly fighting again.

So the cases are not comparable, neither is in the right of course. But you’re saying Hearn wouldn’t be demanding answers if Andy Ruiz failed a test, then everything seems to go quiet and then he’s fighting a few months later with no information about anything that happened?
Fury was banned retrospectively. He'd been out of boxing and taking ******* etc. for over 2 years.

He was told that he was banned for 2 years, starting 2 years ago.

They still stripped his license much earlier because he had hearings to reapply for it

So the ban may have been retrospective by the time he reapplied but at least they took some action by stripping his license in the first place. And at least there was public statements and knowledge of some things

Whyte’s case seems all cloak and dagger to me. No statements, no information given to anybody, not even his opponents team. Everything goes silent and he’s fighting again.

I’m not saying Whyte is worse than Fury or vice versa, I just think the way Whyte’s case has been handled is highly su****ious.
