  • Comments Thread For: Wilder: Wouldn't Be Talking Fury If We Had Same Ref From Ortiz Fight

LAS VEGAS If Kenny Bayless were the referee for his draw with Tyson Fury, not Jack Reiss, Deontay Wilder feels there'd be no need for their upcoming rematch. The WBC heavyweight champion implied during a post-fight press conference Saturday night that Bayless would've waved an end to his fight against Fury once Fury went down hard during the 12th round last December 1 at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Reiss was widely applauded for affording Fury a chance to get up from Wilder's vicious right-left combination because Fury somehow reached his feet and came back to land hard shots on Wilder before the final bell sounded

Wilder you beg. Don't stress fury will finesse you. Enough with all this slow count he was up in time. Fury was robbed!

But Fury beat the count and was perfectly steady on his feet, why should the ref have stopped the fight to award Wilder a win he didn't deserve. Also watching you can actually see Fury looking at the ref while he's counting, the KD was not as damaging as people believe but hey that Undertaker gong gif was funny still.

What's the purpose of the 3 KD rule? Why is it 10 count instead of 30? Why do most refs call it without giving the fighter the opportunity when they go straight down hard?

Because it's dangerous to the fighter and it's their job to keep the fighter safe. Duh.

Even Jack admit his count was funny and he "chose boxing". He went out of the norm, not Bayless.

He should have stopped that fight and Wilder did deserve the KO. You're just a fanboy.

The more wilder talks the more stupid he sounds.

So now he wishes he was awarded a win he didn’t deserve?

Yes you dropped Fury with a beautiful shot but Fury has a massive heart and desire.

If Fury was so hurt then why didn’t you stop him with the follow up. Fact is in that last round, Fury was winning that round easily prior to getting dropped, he gets dropped and then gets back up on steady legs to continue to outbox you.

Wilder think he would have got the KO win If Bayless was but in reality with that statement it goes to show you how shhty and bias Bayless is.

He knows how bad that draw looked. He's look even worse in the rematch. Fury can make adjustments, Wilder does the same old thing every time.

Wow that knockdown was so dangerous to Fury's life that he landed multiple combinations and won the rest of the round. Good thing Bayless would have saved his life. You ****ing idiot.

Went out of the norm by giving a fallen fighter a count? isn't that what most refs do. Imagine a fight being waved off every time someone got dropped.

What protection did Fury need considering he finished the round far better than Wilder who was holding on at the end?

Also what does the 3 KD rule have to do with this scenario?

Lol typing all that nonsense and calling someone else a fan boy, hilarious.
