Comments Thread For: Eubank Jr: I Want To Take Over 160 - I Would Face Charlo Next

Chris Eubank Jr has an intense feeling about him as he readies himself for his return to middleweight on December 7 against Matvey Korobov at Brooklyn's Barclays Center as he seems very mentally and physically readied ahead of his American debut. Eubank Jr currently holds the IBO world super middleweight title after campaigning at the 168 pound limit for three years which included victories against Artur Abraham, Anvi Yildirim and most notably James DeGale, with the DeGale fight seeing him become a two-time world champion.

I think this would be great action, two young guys who will definitely give their all. We might see a new star come from this. Get it done.

Somehow I severely doubt the fight happens because Charlo don't want anyone besides ggg/canelo & I seriously don't think he'll suddenly fight Eubank if he kos Korobov who he went life & death with. I truly hope I'm wrong but Charlo has himself basically said as much that he'll keep fighting 154 lbers til nelo blesses him with a payday

              Good f#cking luck with that.

Kinda think Eubank Jr got his best W of his whole career, and I mean even the future part, vs a washed DeGale & that his biggest accomplishment will be almost beating BJS. Hes not beating Mall in his dreams.

Big bro couldn't put baby bull rushing Brandon Adams to bed...what makes you guys confident he'll be able to spark a guy who will almost assuredly engage him in the same manner and has at least a modest size and power advantage over Adams, along with maybe marginally better defense? Not a love letter to Eubank by any means but this fight feels like pick em territory to me.
