I thought he actually looked borderline OK to continue by the time the count ended...and I say borderline knowing the round was basically over at that point...he at least looked like he knew what was going on by the time it got to 10.

If the ref didn't think he could defend himself at that point and had to take another shot from Wilder, then it was a good stoppage for sure

Bro, once Ortiz got to his feet, he stumbled right into Bayless arms and had to be held up lol.

Yeah I don't really see that man...I think Bayless honestly could have called it over pretty much right away when he hit the ground...he looked bad in that first 5 seconds...but after that he actually looked decent.

Stoppage is around 3:00 in that video...Bayless kind of bumps into him if anything.

Yeah, I thought he was going to waive it off when I saw his eyes when he was on the ground just looking like his wife lifted up her skirt and whipped a **** out.

He still was in no place to defend himself though IMO.

Facts.... And the ref has to take into account every aspect of letting him continue ( his opponent)

Ortiz looked lost, this wasn't the same as Fury who looked like he could have played rock paper scissors with the ref when he got up.

Ortiz looked like he thought he was still on the set of Candyman 92'

Can the ref stop waving off the fights and just do his job and count to 10. Even you know the fighter won’t be able to make it count and if he’s up by 10 ask him how he’s doing and make the call.

I don’t like the fact as soon as wilder land a big KD punch, count to 10 instead of just waving it off like a crazy man. Fury fight will be stopped by 7 out 10 refs in boxing

Because then you'll end up with more "bodies on the record".
